The Supreme Court this morning will hear arguments on the constitutionality of the Defense of Marriage Act. Signed in 1996, DOMA says the federal government will recognize only marriages between a man and a woman. Since the law was passed, nine states and the District of Columbia have legalized same sex marriage. // Court documents show the suspect involved in a deadly car crash in North Seattle has a long list of DUI arrests and second chances. Mark Mullan has been arrested at least five times in Washington for driving under the influence. // Google Earth is at the center of a privacy debate in San Juan county. A man on Orcas Island says county authorities illegally used Google Earth to obtain a search warrant for his property. Pacific mayor Cy Sun says he blew his stack during a 911 call asking for help from the King County Sheriff's Office. // The maker of the tax software TurboTax has opposed letting the government do peoples' taxes for free - even though it could save time and headaches for millions of filers.
