David Stern met with the media today to address the sale of the Sacramento Kings. Jim and Dave listen back to what he said and assess what they think it means.
Chris Daniels of King 5 says there's a growing rift between David Stern and a handful of owners and that Stern isn't happy about it. He says that in a letter it was made evident that the Sacramento group still doesn't even have enough resources to purchase the team. It still doesn't seem like expansion is likely.
Kevin Calabro says that what David Stern had to say is interesting. Leverage is everything in this business, and he doesn't want to see Seattle getting used like a tool. He doesn't see Hansen and Ballmer being used like that either. It would be impossible to remain an advocate of the league if this deal doesn't go through.
The guys react to what Chris and Kevin had to say and aren't sure which way to lean when it comes to whether or not the Kings will come here.
