Jesus Montero gets sent down because he can't really hit right now and is a liability behind the plate as well. Can he salvage his career if he gives up catching completely? Matt thinks he may have to get his chance with another organization. The goal is to get him back to where he can feel like a capable hitter once again. Shannon Drayer hops on the line to talk about what other moves could be coming if any. The back end of the rotation most likely will be addressed soon. Jeremy Bonderman might be the likely guy called up. She also believes Carlos Triunfel will be coming up soon and would be a platoon guy at all infield positions. Eric Wedge's philosophy is all catchers on the roster need to focus on catching first, so now is a chance for him to focus on his offense. There seems to be an epidemic in the Mariners minor league level where they come up and can hold their own for a while, then lost it completely. What is the cure and can the Major League coaching staff really right the ship? Why can't Dustin Ackley stop grounding out to second base all the time?
