I-5 Bridge Plan, Gay Athlete Makes History and Rep Smith on IRS Scandal

Originally aired: Monday, May 27, 2013

State officials say a temporary fix for the Interstate 5 bridge over the Skagit River could be in place by mid-June with a permanent fix in September. Chris Sullivan joins us with the latest. Rantz says the situation shouldn't be used to support political bickering. The L.A. Galaxy's Robbie Rogers made history as the first openly gay man to play in a US professional league and Rantz says the player is not a hero -- he'll explain why that's ideal! Lawmakers may be out of Washington D.C. this week, but their staffs continue to pore over documents in the IRS controversy. Rantz talks to Washington state congressman Adam Smith.
