June 20, 2013 - Hour: 1

Originally aired: Thursday, June 20, 2013

A coalition of gun-rights groups is unveiling an initiative of their own. Initiative 591 would prevent Washington state from adopting background-check laws more restrictive than the federal standard. // After criticizing federally mandated reforms to curb excessive force, Rich O'Neil, president of the Seattle Police Officers' Guild, is telling members the time has come to move forward. Medical marijuana users are upset that they might have to pay taxes on marijuana. // The FBI has ... a few times ... in a few places ... in a very minimum way ... used surveillance drones over U.S. soil. // Little is known about the hedge-fund investors who want to bring the struggling Phoenix Coyotes franchise to Seattle. And nobody knows whether Glendale will even allow it. At least we're not Detroit. The city has no money but still wants to build the Red Wings a new arena. It'll create jobs!
