One woman fights public urination with vigilante toilets in Pioneer Square

Originally aired: Thursday, July 11, 2013

Frustrated by the lack of action from the city, Joanna Urrego of Klondike Penny's Old Time Portrait Studio decided to take matters into her own hands: On the Fourth of July, she set up two homemade outhouses, complete with little carved half-moons, near the entrance to her studio in Seattle's Occidental Park. But business owners throughout Pioneer Square are looking for a more permanent solution.
