Matt wants to address some negative texts he got on the postgame show, saying he is OK with the Mariners losing 3 out of 4 because they were able to be in all those games, Brad Miller has really taken to the leadoff spot, and Justin Smoak and Michael Saunders have seemed to have found their strokes. It was just an off start from Iwakuma, an awful start from Aaron Harang and a first start of the year by Erasmo Ramirez. It looks like the team is turning the corner.
Should we be looking at wins and losses when it comes to the Mariners from here on out? Sure wins are great, but the team isn't competing for the division or wild card, so isn't it more important for the young players to show promise for next year than squeaking out a win against one of the best teams in baseball?
Should the Mariners go after Jacoby Ellsbury to play CF next year? More importantly, do you feel comfortable about the current Mariners OF situation for next year with Saunders and Ackley?
