I-5 closures for 11 straight weekends

In the battle between a proposed Whole Foods Market in West Seattle and Mayor Mike McGinn, both sides insist the other is wrong. The Mayor and a Whole Foods regional president went a couple rounds on the Dori Monson show. The U.S. Navy new for at least three years that there were radioactive materials in an unused building at Seattle's Magnuson Park. Why didn't they tell the public about it? Summertime roadwork is a given in the Puget Sound area. And starting this afternoon, I-5 drivers can expect eleven straight weekends of lane and ramp closures. Tim Haeck reports. Paul McCartney's return to Seattle for his highly anticipated Safeco Field show tonight is stirring some embarrassing memories for iconic Seattle DJ and concert promoter Pat O'Day. Google and Microsoft disappointed Wall Street yesterday with numbers well below expectations.
