We talk draft picks for both the Seahawks and Mariners. Christine Michael was a curious choice for the Seahawks as he is a running back and the Seahawks already have Lynch and Richard Turbin holding down the position, but he's getting very high praise early on. Another rookie, this time for the Mariners, Nick Franklin has started very strong and his offensive numbers should have him in the mix for AL Rookie of the Year. The Mariners (so far) have used SEVEN catchers to date. The guys ponder Miguel Olivo (who is a free agent) being an option. Could the Mariners actually be BUYERS at the trade deadline? With the glaring need at catcher, there is a possibility. Michael Morse (remember him) he's back with the Mariners now and not a moment too soon as Raul Ibanez has cooled off quite a bit since the All-Star break. Any chance he helps the team in the last 2 months of the season? As of now, a 31-26 finish gets the Mariners to .500 for the season. Can the sights be set higher than that the way the team has been playing lately?
