The guys talk about the Mariners comeback win today and how Colin didn't expect it because they haven't played well of late. Matt says the most encouraging thing for him wasn't necessarily the 6-run 5th inning, but the 1st inning single by Brad Miller, followed by the Nick Franklin triple. Also can the team rely on Justin Smoak to be a key run producer moving forward? There is a battle brewing in Seahawks training camp as highly touted free agent cornerback Antoine Winfield along with now healthy Walter Thurmond. Winfield was signed to fill the role that Thurmond could never stay healthy for, but now that he is, taking away the spot from Winfield would be huge. The guys go over the injuries and who will be out of action for the Seahawks first pre-season game. Matt thinks James Carpenter is a big loss for the o-line. Also with Bruce Irvin already out for the first four regular season games, missing the pre-season opener isn't doing him any favors.
