-FIRST THINGS FIRST: Seattle Mayor Mike McGinn and the SPD had to cancel a press conference on DUI reform because City Attorney Pete Holmes boycotted it at the last minute. -Chelsea Manning (AKA Bradley Manning) says she will pay for hormone therapy. The AP, Reuters, and NPR are all officially referring to Manning as a she. The culture around gender identity is changing before our eyes. -The SeaTac living wage initiative hit a snag when a judge tossed out just enough signatures to keep it off the ballot. -LA Dodger pitcher Brian Wilson would not shave his infamous beard even for $1 million.
