Alan Grayson of Florida provided the best shutdown sound of the day when he cited poll figures that show that Americans prefer dog poop and cockroaches to Congress right now. -DO THE RIGHT THING: A man starts a DC monument maintenance militia with his own lawnmower and tools. He says the government can't stop him from taking pride in our national treasures. -The Seattle City Council has a policy of letting citizens voice concerns at their meetings, but two hostile regulars could be ruining it for everyone else. -SPORT!
