Some Boeing machinists plan to march this afternoon to demand a chance to vote on the company's latest contract offer. // A 14-year-old Tumwater boy who'd researched school shootings was arrested after another student said the boy had threatened to shoot students at his school. The boy's mother says her son's actions were just a cry for help. // Brazil says it is not considering Edward Snowden's asylum request. A former colleague of Edward Snowden says he is a genius among geniuses. // In the past, the U.S. has sent the President, the Vice-President or the First Lady to the opening games of that year's Olympics. Not this year. This year the White House is sending openly gay former athletes and low level officials.
