Boeing machinists pensions - The national union chief who has forced a vote on a pension-freezing Boeing contract proposal once called those retirement plans sacred and derided alternatives as risky. Politicians are stepping forward to help the machinists or are they really helping the machinists? Are you a pessimist or an optimist about the coming year? We received calls from listeners who, most of which want to have a better year in 2014. Jeff Britton, owner of a bar in Missouri, thought it was funny that Starbucks thinks customers might get confused that a Frappicino beer would be mistaken for a Frappucino coffee drink. So he responded to the coffee giant with biting humor in a letter that has made the rounds online
