New Year's Eve was spoiled for some by a fog that prevented most from seeing the fireworks at the Space Needle. Elsewhere, someone tried to burn down Neighbours club in Capitol Hill. Aleksa Manila was performing at the venue when they started evacuating people. She joins the show live. Marijuana shops opened to much anticipation and fanfare today in Colorado. Jason hopes that Denver and Seattle can show how safe the drug is even though there are sure to be some bumps along the way. Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor stayed a court challenge to Obamacare's birth control provision for religious organizations. Jason explains why it isn't that important that Sotomayor, an Obama appointee, was the one to do this. An ESPN analyst shocked some by deciding to anoint the N-word her "Sports Person of the Year" due to the impact it had on sports.
