A little more than a year ago, an international controversy erupted when a Maple Valley teenager was seen punching a Giant Pacific Octopus he'd hunted on Alki Beach's Cove 2. One year later, Dylan Mayer talks about why people would rather send him death threats than hunt for their own sustainable meat. And the chef/owner of Hitchcock, on Bainbridge Island, who serves Giant Pacific Octopus, says Dylan's misstep has now trickled down to his restaurant.
