Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer vetoed a controversial bill that would've allowed businesses with strongly held religious beliefs to discriminate against LGBT customers. Brewer said the measure would create more problems than it would solve. // A city council committee is expected today to make a key decision on how to regulate rideshare services in the city. Most controversially, the committee is expected to cap driver permits at 300 for two years. // Families of Washington's Death Row inmate's victims testified in Olympia yesterday in favor of a bill that would prevent future moratoriums.
