Originally aired: Thursday, February 27, 2014

The Seattle City Council passed amendments today on their bill that will add regulations to rideshares like Lyft and UberX. David Goldstein of The Stranger joins the show to explain what happened after hours of deliberation, including a cap of 150 active drivers per service. // Uber Seattle GM Brooke Steger joins the show to react to the City Council's votes on amendments today. She says she is disappointed and that the caps will negatively affect UberX drivers. // Airlines are offering bigger and better perks to first class fliers to entice them to fly with them, including physical space between the rest of the passengers and the ones in the top dollar seats. The AP reported this as another example of the 1% growing more distant from the rest of us, but Jason doesn't see it that way. // An Arizona State Rep is getting raked over the coals by some for cracking jokes at infamous Sheriff Joe Arpaio during a roast that centered on Arpaio's reputation regarding his relationship with minorities.
