The Jared Allen news is heating up as he's been given a contract offer and will mull it over this weekend. Former Seahawks cornerback Walter Thurmond says that playing time was the biggest reason that he signed with the New York Giants. Thurmond adds that he thinks his suspension last season hurt his value in free agency and praises Seattle cornerback Jeremy Lane. Former Mariners pitching great Jamie Moyer talks about what can be done (if anything) about pitcher's safety when it comes to getting hit in the head with a ball like the Reds' Aroldis Chapman did yesterday. The NBA is considering selling uniform space to corporate sponsors (like in the WNBA and MLS). Would you buy an NBA jersey with those logos on it? Does it detract from the games?
