T-shirt Glorifies Seattle Cop Killer Suspect

CopKiller Christopher MonfortListener Ron in Everett tipped us to this website featuring a t-shirt glorifying alleged Seattle cop killer Christopher Monfort, accused of shooting to death officer Timothy Brenton.

Should this shirt even be allowed for sale? How shameless and cowardly are the creators and vendors of this t-shirt? This shirt is positively reprehensible.

    eh
nah, we don't need any new laws. Let them sell it. I'm glad I live in a country where we can speak freely. Although I WOULD like to know the name of the company selling it so I can avoid doing business with them. Thanks, Dori.

    different view
I see this as a racist shirt. The font used on the message and the symbol remind me of white supremest crap. I think it's intended as a message for the Seattle PD, and other law enforcement, to get rid of non-white people. It should be seen as hate speech.

From the T shirt--I'm not sure if they're glorifying the killing, or asking to be "Delivered from the evil" of Monfort... Is there more information?

Banning This would be Like Lefties Getting Fox News Off the Air
Its ugly, I hate it and it goes completely against my values but the right to say S&*t like this is the nature of democracy. Free speech can hurt. I do, however, hope that someone who buys this understands the ramifications of wearing it and if someone happens to take offense (i.e. law enforcement folks), I hope they use all the power granted them to make the lives of those wearing it very difficult....

    This shirt
and the band (who i shall not name) have gang ties with a national gang Known as FSU. they are known for terrorizing the hardcore music scene with violence. their members are currently banned from playing or attending concerts at the El Corazon and a few other major venues in seattle. I personally know one of the members of this band and his grandmother would have a heart attack if she saw this shirt. I also happen to support free speach even if I dont agree with it. but i think even AJ thinks this is a stupid shirt to wear. be carefull confronting the members of this band. They are known to carry guns, brass knuckles, mace and other weapons. you can even do a youtube search for FSU seattle to learn more aobut the crap they have done here

    bad taste
This is clearly bad taste - however - many of our "fine" SPD have shown their ugly side too. Way too much of it in my opinion.
