Climate Change scam - the smoking gun

Word coming out, that its taken out of context, nothing to see here, we still are going to die to CO2 still please keep the money flowing.

I've thought for a long time that the "Climate change" was a scam. This new information seals it for me. What a hoax!!

One particular location caught doing bad science about warming data. Probably even illegal, certainly grants will be revoked.

Now you just have to uncover the other 1,000 institutions that all have reached similar conclusions independently that there is a human component.

I know..they all faked it. All of them, independently, all around the world.

That's it... the hacker made up all these documents and emails to embarass us. Don't believe any of it. Now, please continue to conserve engery so we can buy the carbon credits and fly in private jets to spread the true word.

Here's where we get to separate the idiots, the skeptics, and the naieve.

The idiots will claim "The climate can't be changing now. The weather this year looks about the same as last year. Besides, if some liberal loon like Al Gore is on board for climate change or "global warming" then it has to be bogus because *everything* liberals believe, without exception, is bogus."

The skeptics will claim "Yes, the climate is changing as it always has and always will. There's no way to determine for sure whether the activities of man are currently making it change more or faster than before, but we know it has changed this rapidly and by even greater magnitudes during prehistoric eras when man was not a factor."

The naieve will claim "The last few years have been hotter or colder than before," or "We had a heat wave last summer so global warming is real," or "We had a lot of snow last winter so global warming is phony."

I think skepticism is the best position for now, pending further information. We *could be* having an impact with our activities, or not. There's no question that glaciers in the northern hemisphere have retreated record amounts, but some in the southern hemisphere are growing.

It's too bad we can't separate the science from the politics of this issue- but that seems entirely hopeless.

To anyone who actually knows anything about the subject, and will not have any effect on the True Believers in this idiotic cult. ( see above ). Fact is, there has never been any actual scientific evidence what-so-ever that human activity causes climate change. What the True Believers have is computer models which are programmed to give them the result they want, and which have failed miserably every time. In fact. All four major global temperature tracking outlets (Hadley, NASA's GISS, UAH, RSS) have released updated data. All show that global temperatures have dropped precipitously. But facts don't matter to True Believers.They will only become more shrill.

the email correspondents weren't all at one location either---check out the one email from someone in Colorado complaining that the Rockies had to play baseball in freezing weather. The only way to disprove this is for HRU to open up their data to the public completely. There is always the possibility it's a hoax, but it is looking less and less so...

Its been happening for millions of years. Long before mankind could possibly have any effect on it. I believe its the same today, we have no effect on it. In the 60s and 70s it was heading towards the ice age again. Its headed where ever the grant money is. Just a bunch of educated leeches sucking on the taxpayers tit.

The climate today is different from the climate yesterday and it will be different again tomorrow. Man's contribution to that change is infinitessimally negligible in relation to the earth's own impact on that change. That being said, I find it hard to argue against clean air, clean water, pure food, biodiversity and sustainable forests. Just don't try to push the agenda under one big fear-mongering "global warming" hoax.
