Obama Campaign Theatrics

--Producer Phil writes

A Wall Street Journal writer, James Taranto , has uncovered a hilarious and puzzling coincidence at 5 different Sen. Obama campaign speeches over the last few months, including the recent speech in Seattle.

Dori and listeners have found one other Sen. Obama incident posted on YouTube where a person near the stage faints. Sen. Obama responds to each incident with the same routine and phrases.

Is it phoney, orchestrated, manufactured campaign theatrics or is it merely physiological coincidence? You be the judge.

    Stop reachin'
If you are looking at this as anything other than a funny coincedence, you need to stop reaching. Barack pulls in more people at his rallies than most candidates and most of the time those people are standing around for up to an hour waiting for it to start. Naturally people are going to feel sick from the excitement of being there, being hot, crowded, lack of water... Get over it Dori and find something else to complain about.

Dori, try to stop the hate - if you can
An amazing amount of investigative journalism on your part. It's beyond the possibility of coincidence that more than a few people faint at these events (given what we saw in Seattle last week, with people standing and waiting for hours to get in)? Did you consider that 'right in front of the stage' is the part of the audience Obama can see most clearly? That he might not see people fainting in the back row? How many incidences did you find? You post three - out of how many speeches has he given? What is the statistical significance? And from that you conclude he's staging this? Your hateful, cynical bias is showing.

    Oh come on
We all know this is only a "vast right wing conspiracy"...oh, wait, that one has already been used before. Sorry to Stop Reachin', but if you know anything about science, you know there are in actuality no such thing as coincidences.

This is your top story? I'm so glad we're not focusing on the issues here, that's way too hard.

    Wake up call
Wake up people, you are being manipulated by a real professional. Obama was "too good to be true" right from the start.

Dori -- are you a conspiracy guy now?
Funny how you poo poo the 911 conspiracy people but when you think Obama has a conspiracy to buy votes every one else is wrong. Wow Dori, on low can you go?

    The great Obama?
I suppose that there could be a great deal of excitement for some people to attend one of these rallies. That said, it still reminds me a bit of fainting goats... a little excitement and down they go... Obama speaks and boom, another one bites the dust.

    A Dori "Exclusive"
So the Dori Show has begun its oh-so-predictable character besmirching of Barack Obama. Is this to be your top story for the next eight months? It's already kind of tiresome.

    Dori isn't hating
He's just pointing something out. Plus he is entitled to making his own conclusions. People have been distracted with less.
