I wish to put in my vote for bad movie.
"Fast Forward". This stinker comes from the 80's and features a group of lycra clad kids who go to the big city to seek their fortunes through 80's dancing. It's so bad it will bring your mind to a complete halt.

    The Best Bad Movie EVER!
is Gale Force with Treat Williams and Curtis "Booger" Armstrong. It has everything - a Reality TV setting, deserted island, mercenaries, buried treasure, extreme weather, a jaded cop and the worst dialogue ever written, such as the line "Who do you have to (eff dot dot dot) to get off this island?" A MUST SEE

    By the way...
I just realized that Gale Force also has Michael "American Ninja" Dudikoff as well.

Why Spend Time on The Worst
There is so much that is good out there, why spend time riffing on the 'worst possible movie' you could rent? The endless pop culture references, the celebration of the crap quality, is this just nostalgia? I guess this is the triumph of nobrow culture when time is spent on stuff that is by definition worthless. It's less than zero to start and only degrades from there. I know it's not a democracy but I certainly vote no for a continued segment. If there's going to be endless riffing on pop culture at least have good source material (Lethem).

    Bad...
The worst movie that I have seen lately, is that pile of crap called Quarantine. That has got to be one of the worst. I felt more dumb after sitting through that garbage. Why did I sit through the whole thing? I thought that it had to get better at some point. End then they ended it with a shot that was featured prominently in the trailers. Dumbness all around.

To anyone wondering why watch a bad movie...
I ask: How can you pass on a movie (Bulletproof) where Gary Busey calls every bad guy a “butt-horn”? I don’t want to insinuate that you are humorless, but aren’t you…well, humorless? I’ve seen good movies with friends where we dab the corners of our eyes with our hankies but have nothing much to say a day later, and bad movies that have given us years and years of conversational material. Are we, the bad-movie-appreciators, the only ones with the constitution to wade through the dreck for a diamond? Are your sensibilities too delicate to appreciate the awesomeness of a Dudikoff or the fury of a Busey? To those people I am tempted to say: Go cry into your bowl of Kashi, you Fine Arts major. But as a simple, peace-loving man I will only say: Leave the heavy lifting to us.

Bad, BAD, B-A-D, actually, don't bother...
I, like others wonder why you would bother with the "worst of the worst", but here goes: THE worst is "Baby Geniuses" (imagine those creepy talking baby commercials but as an entire movie), followed by "Bandits" (w/Billy Bob Thornton).

    Because
The year was 1982. Ghandi won the Oscar. Ben Kingsley won Best Actor playing the role. No one cares. Mr. T played Clubber Lang in crapfest Rocky 3 the same year and he's been pitying humorless fools ever since. Long live crap movies and those who celebrate them. Here's to eating lightning and crapping thunder. Bad films will knock ya to tomorrow, Rock.

My vote goes to "The Legend of Billie Jean". Also, if you haven't seen the Vanilla Ice movie "Cool As Ice" you haven't lived. Why do I like watching these movies? Hmm... Billie Jean- especially as a young girl, I liked the storyline- poor girl is done wrong and gets revenge. I love the "Fair is Fair"- raised arm- ridiculousness. The Vanilla Ice movie is just so bad it's funny.

    Humorless Reply
It's not a question of heavy lifting. I can enjoy fine comedy but still appreciate it the quality as well and it can provide extended conversation about the merits of the work, not due to the lack of it. As to heavy lifting, your argument has all the advantages of theft over honest toil. I enjoy steak and beer and would not be likely to enjoy kashi, however that fits into your stereotype. But this is all mute; there is no point trying to argumentatively convince someone of the value of high culture when in fact they have no experience of it.
