I'm just trying to beat those that are paid by someone to hover and wait for Palin stories so that they can begin insulting her. It gets very old. They are insulting a woman while quoting SNL, instead of Palin herself. I was exposed to Palin during an interview on CNBC that aired about two years ago. She struck me as a very knowledgeable person on energy. So, continue to heap insults and make sure you report how many characters you used so you can get paid.

I'm not sure why anyone who is not a Palin fan would be presumed to be a paid critic. Though I can't really call her an idiot - this woman is highly skilled at getting what she wants. Truth has a way of revealing itself over time, and IMO time will show that she is not who she portrays herself to be. But for now she can say whatever she will, and some will fall for it.

Was she ready for primetime? No. She would have made a great Energy Secretary or some other cabinet post, since that's really her point of expertise. I don't think she's ready to be president, but if it's a choice between a completely inexperienced community organizer or her, I'd have to go with her. Neither, IMO, would be a "good" decision, but at least we have similar world-views. Had she stuck to discussing energy policy and domestic policy, they may very well have won that election. Because the McCain campaign was trying too hard to answer her "heartbeat away" critics by saying that she would be ready from day 1 and trying to prove it by having her answer foreign policy questions, they blew the election and gave her an image that she may never live down. She was not prepared to answer hard-hitting questions. Frankly, neither is Biden after over 30 years in the Senate.

I hope she comes to Seattle - although why would she? As far as experience - perhaps she was not ready, we have all seen how bad it is when "someone" is in a position where they are over their head.
