I first jumped into the frenzied world of radio when I was a high school student in Connecticut back in the mid 80's. At the time, I wanted to be a war correspondent, figuring it would combine my interest in military history, travel and different cultures. Fast forward through the years, those appreciations remain the same, but I soon lost the interest to be in the middle of interlocking fields of fire.
Higher education transplanted me to the University of Oregon, where I fell in love with the Pacific NW, and have since remained. Post-college has been split between Seattle and Spokane... news director at KLKI in Anacortes, Anchor/Reporter at KXLY TV in Spokane, and since 2002, 97.3 KIRO FM the past three years as Money Editor.
