Email Gregg
Gregg is now in his 25th year of delivering the news to KIRO listeners. His career began after he graduated from Gonzaga University and he was a reporter, anchor, and news director at stations in Spokane, Portland, and Seattle before joining KIRO in 1984.
He's very proud of the fact that his grandfather Jean Hersholt starred in an old-time CBS radio show which was broadcast on KIRO from 1937-1954. It was called "Dr. Christian." The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences also named a humanitarian Oscar after his grandfather.
"It's a privilege to be the first voice people hear when they wake up in the morning," Gregg says, "and we all strive to start your day with useful information and an occasional chuckle."
