Washington St releases football schedule

PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) - Washington State will open next football season with a game at Auburn.

The Cougars announced their football schedule on Thursday. The 12-game schedule features six home games, including a Sept. 28 match with Stanford in Seattle.

The other home games are Sept. 14 against Southern Utah; Sept. 21 against Idaho; Oct. 12 against Oregon State; Oct. 31 against Arizona State and Nov. 23 against Utah.

Road games are at Southern California, at California, at Oregon, at Arizona and at Washington.

The bye weeks are Oct. 26 and Nov. 9.

    I imagine replacing BYU with Southern Utah would bring some hope of balance, but not to schedules, hopefully in the win column not another blow out loss. Probably a good call, maybe the next call should be to the WAC.

    I see 5 maybe even 6 road loses for the cougs, probably 6 lets face it were talking about WSU football here. Anyway the Apple Cup will be really fun for us Dawgs. New stadium + beatdown = a great day. BOW DOWN!!!!!
