Chalk Talk with Brock: Earl Thomas' game-ending INT
Chalk Talk with Brock is a new weekly feature for the Brock and Salk blog in which Brock Huard will break down some aspect of football. Whether it be a few plays from the the Huskies or Seahawks game or a more general football concept, Brock will explain them in terms an average football fan can understand.
This week Brock breaks down Earl Thomas' interception on San Diego's final possession, which sealed the win for the Seahawks. (See an end zone view of the play, shot by a fan).
As Brock explains, Thomas' field awareness and route-recognition were keys to the play, as was the Seahawks' decision to bring blitzers up the middle.
