Three of the four suspected Craigslist killers pleaded not guilty in Pierce County Superior Court on Monday.
Clabon T. Berniard of SeaTac, Kiyoshi Higashi and Joshua Reese, both of Tacoma, are facing murder, robbery and assault charges in the April 28 home invasion robbery in Edgewood.
The fourth suspect, Amanda Knight of Sumner, appeared in court last week pleading not guilty to the charges.
Outside court, a relative protested the innocence of defendants Kiyoshi Higashi and Joshua Reese. "The wife should be able to identify who the shooter is. It's not Kiyoshi or Reese and all the papers make it seem like Kiyoshi's the shooter and he's not."
Jim Sanders's widow, Charlene, would not respond to who pulled the trigger.
"I don't really want to comment on that right now because of the case. I have a good feeling of who," she said outside the courtroom.
The four suspects have been ordered held on $2 million bail.
Police say the attackers went to the home of James Sanders pretending to buy a ring, tied up his family and shot him when he tried to prevent his 14-year-old son from being pistol-whipped.
