She couldn't be here in person, but Sarah Palin is doing her part for one local Republican candidate for U.S. Senate.

"Unlike establishment candidates who just talk about lower taxes, Clint has signed a pledge to do so," says Palin's recorded voice, encouraging people to vote for Didier.

Palin's message is part of a last minute campaign of robotic telephone calls now underway in our state. In the message, Palin calls Didier a "new kind of Republican" who will back up his words with actions.

Didier is among the candidates hoping to unseat Senator Patty Murray.
