City Councilmember Tom Rasmussen says Seattle Mayor Mike McGinn is obsessed with the Alaskan Way Viaduct replacement project.
"I don't think he's representing the city very well because of his obsessing obsession with this project," Rasmussen tells the Seattle Channel.
Rasmussen says Mayor McGinn needs to stop fighting with Olympia over the tunnel project.
"This is going to have ripple effects in terms of the ability of the city to get things done in Olympia, and he's unable to recognize that," says Rasmussen.
McGinn opposes the tunnel because he thinks drivers will avoid it and because the city will have to pay for expensive cost-overruns.

Legal experts discuss FAMU band member interviews
Band members' statements to investigators that a Florida A & M University drum major willingly got on a bus where he endured a beating with drumsticks, mallets and fists helps explain why the nearly dozen defendants charged in his death face felony hazing counts and not more severe charges such as manslaughter and second-degree murder, legal experts say. - In US, Castro's daughter focuses on gay rights
