Colin still isn’t sold on Joe Flacco over the rest of his career. He thinks he played the best in the playoffs, and can have very good stretches, but isn’t consistent enough to be an elite quarterback. Matt thinks it would be insane to let Flacco walk because they don’t want to change the “model” of the team.
The guys talk soccer… international soccer, where over 600 matches around the world were fixed by gamblers (but not in the MLS, yay!). The guys try to relate this to happening in baseball and saying it would basically destroy the sport.
Tom thinks that with the organization involved having fixed soccer matches all over the world. He finds it hard to believe that not a SINGLE game in the US has been fixed during this time period. Matt says any sport in this country that is found out to have been fixed will kill the sport.
