Date: Wed February 6, 2013 Show: Colin and Tom More PED talk as Colin and Tom talk about Biogenesis (the clinic linked to distributing PEDs) and the client list. Not all players linked to the clinic are linked to PEDs per se, but this clinic doesn’t pass the smell test as legitimate. Also, is it time to let baseball off the hook for rampant drug use in the 80s and 90s because now they are leading the way doing the most thorough testing? Today was national letter of intent day and one player, Alex Collins, changed his mind after committing to Miami, wanting to play for Arkansas. Because he isn’t 21, he needed parental approval, but his mom not only refused to sign it, but took it and drove off because she wanted him to stay close to home. The guys wonder if he would thank her later, or if it’s best for him to get away from home. A list of the most hated athletes in America has been released. Some names aren’t too surprising like Kobe, Bryant, Tony Romo and Lance Armstrong, but one puzzling name on the list: Manti Te’o. Is he really hated, or is his name just fresh in the news for a fabricated story that isn’t completely his fault?
