More people are throwing their names in the hat for controlling interest of the Kings. Dave thinks it's too last minute and the Seattle plan is just too good to refuse. Jim has gone from wildly optimistic to cautiously optimistic with so many more people allegedly able to privately finance the arena. Wyman just wants them to "unveil the whales" already.
The price for Alex Smith could dictate where Matt Flynn ends up - so what will each be worth? Matt Flynn's value might be at its highest at the moment, but an insurance policy like him is extremely important. The idea of freeing up up his cap space just doesn't work when you look at what Russell Wilson makes.
Kevin Calabro says that the 7-percent owner who purchases a stake at auction might not have the right of first refusal along with the purchase. He says expansion would be best for all because Sacramento is a good NBA market, but if the league wants the NBA back in Seattle, now is the time.
