In "Sweeping the Dial" the guys talk about Rutgers coach Mike Rice being fired, confidence meter on getting the Kings, Mariners offense mashing, can Brian Banks stick on an NFL roster, and could Britney Griner make it in the NBA? David Stern met with the media today, as well as Chris Hansen and the Sacramento group. It's tough to read who's winning this situation. Chris Daniels of King 5 joins from New York. He says the NBA needed more clarity on both Seattle and Sacramento's situations and this meeting helped with that. David Stern seemed conflicted by things today and there might actually be some sentimentality to this situation. He says finances will weigh the most when it comes down to this decision. The NBA owners are making this decision, not David Stern. Sacramento falls short on unemployment, a smaller market and less than what Seattle has to offer from an economic standpoint.
