The talk of Seahawks camp is still the state of Percy Harvin and his injured hip. He will get his second opinion tomorrow to see the extent of the hip labrum tear. Matt worries that this could become a Deon Branch situation where he gets hurt before he plays a down and never becomes the player you thought you were getting. Tom says this may shed light on type of problems that have followed Harvin around since his Minnesota days. Colin says his past attitude and off the field issues are a bigger issue than a possible injury.
Colin says he's actually relieved that Harvin might be hurt before the season because as a Seattle sports fan, with all the high expectation on the Seahawks, he's just waiting for something to go horribly wrong as it usually does with Seattle sports teams. Colin says they can still be the team they are expected to be, because it's happening before the season rather than in-season.
Tom says this injury could be really significant because of all the close games Seattle had to eke out in the 4th quarter. Percy Harvin was supposed to be the difference maker to put them over the top. Colin points out the largest margin of defeat last year was only 7 points and a Harvin may have given them a win in one or two of those losses.
