Brock and Salk ask listeners about reactions to Chambers Bay. Instead, our hosts are badgered by University Place citizens perturbed by claims that the U.S. Open takes place in Seattle. Blue 42: The Seahawks have made it clear they won't budge on contract talks, it's up to Russell and his agent to make the next move in the contract talks. Could we have an answer this week?

Need to know: The Warriors take a 3-2 lead in the NBA Finals series. The M's get shellacked 13-0 by the Houston Astros but are still .500 on this road trip. U.S. Open players still don't like the course and are speaking up about it. U.S. Open underway today. James Jones called up from AAA following last games debacle and the guys thinks it's a poor reactionary move. Too little too late? Also, Salk has an interesting take on who may be the most valuable piece in this NBA Finals series and his name is neither James nor Curry.

Salk points his moral compass in the direction of Golden State Coach Steve Kerr in his decision to lie to reporters about which big man would start game 4 of the NBA Finals. Danny gives his informed take on the matter and Salk ultimately concludes he was just happy LeBron lost. In Seahawks news, what's up with Earl Thomas' on-field vendetta against one unfortunate practice squad player? Danny says Jimmy Graham will never be even an average blocker in the NFL. Plus, Richard Sherman's latest assertion is pretty provocative and Salk and Danny do Answer the Question Jerk!

Danny and Salk talk 'Hawks. The guys reflect on Seahawks OTA's: How much work can you really be doing in a bucket hat, Richard Sherman? Later, Salk and Danny talk the Mariners terrible Bedard trade and ask listeners: what are your least favorite Seattle sports trades? Danny takes over for Brock in today's Blue 42: Does Matt Flynn have a chance in New England? Who's got the worst QB situation in the NFC West?

The very entertaining Danny O'Neil steps in for a gone-fishing Brock Huard this morning. Need to know: OTA's are over and the number 1 takeaway: There's a lot of fire on this team and last year's big loss just might have a bit to do with that. If the Mariners are going to get back to .500, Cano must start playing like a superstar. Salk acknowledges the NBA Finals and asserts that King James cannot do it all by himself. John Clayton joins the show.

Need to know: The city of Glendale has voted to cancel the lease with the Arizona Coyotes at Gila River Arena. Could this be the spark that eventually brings the NHL to Seattle? The Mariners scored 9 runs last night, and managed to produce without Nelson Cruz and without a hit from Robinson Cano. The U.S Open at Chambers Bay is one week away, hopefully opening the path for a regular stop in Seattle on the PGA tour. John Clayton joins the program. Could MLB make the draft more interesting by allowing teams to trade draft picks?

Roman Oben, NFL's director of Youth and High School Football joins the broadcast to talk moms and little league safety. Also, Brock faces three great football questions in today's edition of Blue 42.

Need to know: Mariners knock off former Cy Young Award Winner Corey Kluber with Cano tallying a pair of hits. Arizona may break a lease with their Coyote NHL team which could mean hockey in Seattle. Also, Seahawks back-up QB Tarvaris Jackson is back in Seattle and Salk is absolutely elated. So much so, he wrote an entire song for the occasion. Brace yourself.

In "Blue 42", Brock does not see Michael Vick as a fit in Seattle, and reacts to John Clayton's suggestion that the 49ers could trade Colin Kaepernick.

Need to know: The Seahawks have begun contract talks with Bobby Wagner. Could this give the Seahawks leverage in contract negotiations with Russell Wilson, because of the threat of the franchise tag? Mark Rodgers sent a 16 page letter to the Seahawks about his client. Which party is winning these negotiations? The Mariners are going up against Corey Kluber tonight in Cleveland, and could struggle to end their 8-game losing streak. John Clayton joins the program. Robinson Cano is still struggling, and the guys have figured out the reasons for why he isn't getting it done. What is a solution for him? With 8 years and over $200 million left on the contract, benching him may not be the best option.
