Happ's tough outing and how comfortable Brad Miller is at short. In "Sweeping the Dial" the guys talk about why the Seahawks might welcome the show "Hard Knocks" now, Rick Petino doesn't like one and done, and the Seahawks need a draft like 2012.

Now that he's entering his 6th season with the Mariners with the M's possibly on the verge of breaking out, what grade would you give Jack Z thus far? Larry Stone of the Seattle Times looks at what Jack Zduriencik has done in his tenure with the M's and if they'll make the leap in 2015. The NFL has made more rule changes involving player safety.     It's "The John Clayton Rewind!" We replay our 4 o'clock segment with the Professor. John Schneider spoke today about the contract he's working on for Russell Wilson. Also, Clare Farnsworth retires, a total pro who deserves a hearty congratulations. Plus, what did we learn today?

    We are now two weeks away from opening day for the Mariners. Where are your areas of concern? Jim gives us his concerns. Callers have some concerns as well. In "Audibles!" we find out 'what Jim Moore would do?' in any given situation.

    John Clayton joins us live from the owners meetings in Arizona and explains why it seems news of Michael Bennett wanting out of Seattle was overblown. The veteran's NFL combine was held over the weekend and even though it did more to end a player's career than help it, Jim likes it. In "Sweeping the Dial" the guys talk about how the NCAA Tournament is great because of stories like Ron Hunter of Georgia State, Chris Borland leaving the NFL, and the veteran combine.

    The guys quickly acknowledge Gonzaga's impressive weekend in the tournament, before turning to football. John Schneider speaks about Russell Wilson and roster construction. We have a funeral or 'remembrance of life' as Jim calls it for the San Francisco 49ers. Jim sees a twitch in the casket. Should the NFL tweak some rules on extra points or other plays?

    John Clayton talks about Marcus Mariota's comments that he doesn't care when he's picked in the NFL Draft and the negative reaction from some NFL teams. The tournament has been terrific so far. No 12's won this year, but plenty of upsets. In "Sweeping the Dial" the guys discuss a Terry Blount report that the Seahawks and Russell Wilson are close on a deal, Mike Zunino should raise his average this season, and Bruce Pearl thinks Gonzaga can beat Kentucky.

    The guys briefly take a look at the state of their brackets with some first round upsets in the NCAA Tournament. Which Seahawks Super Bowl loss is more painful 2005, or this year? Also Russell Wilson is going to sign a new contract. Is it smart to give him a guaranteed deal and if so, will it start a trend in the NFL?

    John Clayton dissects the Seahawks' signing of nose tackle Ahtyba Rubin, a seven-year vet with the Browns who could be taking Brandon Mebane's job. Jim Boeheim speaks out about sanctions against the Syracuse basketball program and comes off as whiny and throws the football team under the bus as well. In "Sweeping the Dial" Larry Brown says the Kentucky team could make the NBA playoffs, Barack Obama breaks down his bracket, and Eastern Washington's head coach says they'll beat Georgetown.
