Seahawks re-sign Leon Washington

A source told ESPN's John Clayton that the Seahawks and running back/kick returner Leon Washington have agreed to a four-year deal worth about $12.5 million.
The deal, which was agreed to on Tuesday, could max out at $16 million.
The team announced Tuesday afternoon that Washington has been re-signed, but provided no specifics.
The 28-year-old Washington, acquired in a draft-day trade with the Jets last April, made a surprisingly quick recovery from a compound leg fracture that cost him most of the 2009 season. He returned three kickoffs for touchdowns in 2010, tied for most in the league. His 11.3 average on punt returns was a career-high. He also scored a rushing touchdown.
