The Los Angeles Sparks-Seattle Storm WNBA series moves to Seattle for Game 2 Friday of the Western Conference playoffs.
The best-of-three series opened in LA Thursday with a 70-63 Sparks win.
Seattle was without All-Star Lauren Jackson and coach Brian Agler says she'll remain out indefinitely with a stress fracture in her lower back.
Since winning the WNBA championship in 2002, the Storm has never advanced past the first round the last four years. That includes losing to the Sparks last year in three games.
The teams split their four regular season meetings this year, with each winning on their home courts.
