You've got one word to describe the Mariners. What is it? Dismal? Disappointing? Darkhorse? Does that last one even count? Brock and Salk call a Mariners town hall and field opinions about those (insert adjective here) Mariners. Later, Answer the Question Jerk! what's proper attire for a yacht party? Could Big Kyle take Brock in a friendly wrestling match? Brock says no.
  • July 22, 2015 - Hour: 2
As you may know, Brock and Salk were up in arms yesterday about a Mike Sando QB tier chart that placed Russell Wilson in the second tier of NFL QBs. They decided Sando's got some explaining to do as he joins the show to talk Russell Wilson's greatness or lack thereof. But first, the Seattle Seahawks hype train has officially arrived at the 710 ESPN station. Somebody's gotta kick-start the season and nobody does it better when Brock and Salk talk Hawks. This hour: the best sounds from the 2014 Seahawks playoff run. Later: Blue 42
  • July 22, 2015 - Hour: 1
Need to know: The Mariners avoid going 10 games under .500 off the cuff of a Gutierrez grand slam. Also, it's eight days from training camp and neither Wilson nor Wagner is signed yet. Later, Brock and Salk salute fantasy football nerds for doing something valuable to their show. Jimmy Graham is coming off his least productive year since his rookie season. Maybe it's time for a change of scenery?

  • July 21, 2015 - Hour: 3
At the top of this hour Brock and Salk are joined by the voice of the Seahawks, Steve Raible. Steve shares what his favorite calls were from last season to get us pumped for this season. Next, we discuss NHL expansion in Seattle, which doesn't look good after the application deadline just came and went. Jim Moore then comes on to talk Jesus Montero. Finally, the hour concludes with "Answer the Question Jerk".
  • July 21, 2015 - Hour: 2
This off-season, with the tragic Superbowl loss, celebrity contract talks, and openly dissatisfied player problems, Seahawks fans could use a rekindling for their Hawk fan flame. It is in this case that Brock and Salk are at their very best. This hour: The guys take a roaring trip down memory lane with the twenty greatest sounds from last season. After a brief end-of-the-Mariners, Brock's in top form for a Hawks-exclusive edition of Blue 42.
  • July 21, 2015 - Hour: 1
Need to know: The Mariners (42-51) lose series opener to the Tigers (46-46). Despite the Mariners' worst-in-the-AL record, they still consider themselves contenders. The NFL is making stupid money, earning over $7 billion in shared team revenue. And, Zach Johnson won the British Open yesterday with Jordan Spieth finishing one stroke out of the three-man playoff. This displeases Salk. Also: Clayton talks the gap between the Seahawks and their NFC West-rival Cardinals and Russell Okung bets on himself acting as his own agent in contract discussions.

  • July 20, 2015 - Hour: 3
Millennials. Entitled? Selfish? Both? Brock and Salk allow themselves to sound like geezers for a moment in discussing today's millennials' effect on sports. Who was more geeked between the two of them?
  • July 20, 2015 - Hour: 2
With training camp looming, who wins the one-on-one matchup? Sherman vs. Baldwin? Chancellor vs. Graham? Any Hawks OL double team vs. Bennett? Brock and Salk lead the pre-camp debate. Brock and Salk are selling on the Mariners' this season and Lloyd said something this weekend that managers rarely let out... Blue 42: Are both UW and WSU irrelevant this season? Who is Doug Baldwin really?
  • July 20, 2015 - Hour: 1
Need to know: The Mariners are back to their losing ways dropping two of three against the Yankees. The British Open finishes today with Spieth one shot out of the lead and an amateur Dunne at the top as well. Big news out of the NHL sphere as both Seattle and Bellevue are out of the running for a stadium. Tukwila's still on the table, though. Brock and Salk talk Spieth vs. Dunne and Tom Watson's farewell to pro golf.

  • July 17, 2015 - Hour: 3
Yes or no: Two weeks from now at training camp, is this deal done with Russell Wilson? Brock asks the house and everyone says yes but Salk. Is anyone surprised? The Huskies seem poised for a return to glory after this season. As a proud Husky alumnus, Brock recalls the great reign of the late Don James at UW. Later, Answer the Question Jerk!
  • July 17, 2015 - Hour: 2
As many Seattlelites well know, the Seahawks haven't always been Superbowl champs. Brock and Salk ask the question: What was the moment that changed everything for this team? The moment Pete Carroll stepped into the VMAC? When Russell Wilson was promoted? Beast Quake? Fans give their take. Blue 42: Brock answers twitter questions from listeners today including this: "who will be the Hawks' breakout player this season?"
  • July 17, 2015 - Hour: 1

Also, the second half of the MLB season starts today and there's 15 games left before the trade deadline. And, Golf is still happening, but Spieth-watch and nap-induction are all it's good for right now, according to Salk.
