    John Clayton joined us live from San Francisco where Super Bowl coverage begins. He talked about possible solutions to the Pro Bowl, nothing happening to the catch rule, and trouble the the stadium being so far from San Francisco. Jonah Keri of CBS Sports and SINow thinks the future of the Mariners pitching staff is in Taijuan Walker's hands. In "Sweeping the Dial" we learn Gary Payton talked trash to a high school kid and Thomas Davis shows serious 'bad-assery' playing with a broken arm.
  • February 1, 2016 - Hour: 1
    Can the Pro Bowl be fixed? Did you watch? The Seahawks took home both offensive and defensive MVP awards. Also, we unveil the 'Hawksers!' like the Oscars, only better... we think. Will Kam Chancellor be back with the Seahawks next year? He's under contract, but his holdout was a huge obstacle the team had to overcome and could that happen again? Calvin Johnson (aka Megatron) plans to retire and Dave have some things to say about it.

Other topics are the rankings of the 49 previous Super Bowls and a big extension for Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh has gone the route of a player who de-commits to a school by revoking a scholarship to a player who committed under the previous regime. Is this fair to him? In "Sweeping the Dial" Draymond Green's mom tells him he's an All-Star, Bill Walton rubs dirt on himself on TV, and the groundskeepers in Santa Clara messed up the end zone paint.

    Defense still wins championships and that bodes well for the Seahawks. Jim brings his logic back to the Cougs of course. The Huskies men's basketball team is off to a great start and where they stand right now, have a good shot at the NCAA Tournament. How far can they go? A new report in People Magazine says that OJ Simpson may have CTE, but is this really someone who can get sympathy for it?

Jess is the guinea pig. The Mariners give us reason to believe this year. Mike Zunino will likely start out in AAA this year and that's a good thing. Andy McKay is starting out impressing us.
