Chris Quinlan

One morning while on his way to work, Seattle firefighter Chris Quinlan approached a serious car accident and immediately took it upon himself to jump in and pull a man from a burning vehicle. Though he was off the clock, his servant’s heart, experience on the job and quick-thinking led him to pull the driver to safety and conduct first aid until medics could arrive to help. Chris went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure each person was safe.
For his life saving actions and determination to help those in need, KIRO Radio and WSECU are proud to honor Chris Quinlan as a Hometown Hero and award him with two thousand dollars! As a not for profit credit union, WSECU invests their profits into creating a better community, and last year 90% of their employees volunteered their own time in communities across Washington state. If you know someone who invests in their community, nominate them to be our next Hometown Hero at mynorthwest.com/hero.
