Hometown Hero: Heather Wren

Heather Wren of Edgewood teaches at Federal Way High School. In 2008 Ms. Wren co-founded the Academic Success Academy (ASA.)

The ASA program presents students who have fallen significantly behind in school with a new and innovative, still challenging way to earn their high school diploma. Since 2009 the program has helped over 190 excited and appreciative high school students earn their diplomas.

Because of Heather Wren’s dedication to her students, KIRO Radio and your community credit union, WSECU are proud to honor heather as a hometown hero and award her with $2,000!
