Even on the road, Seahawks have edge over Redskins
The Seahawks have shown they can win anywhere against anyone in any situation, even the first round of the playoffs against a dangerous quarterback.

    "Prediction: Seahawks 27, Redskins 10."
That would be awesome, I only hope that you are correct.

    Huge game for...
JR Sweezy. He will start on the right side. That makes our left side of the line an excellent option for Lynch runs, bootlegs and read option plays.

    Young'ns..
Remember that talk at the beginning of the season about the Hawks being a young and rebuilding team? That part about being "young" is what makes them outlast the competition. It's why they are where they are today.. The Bears were done in by the 3rd quarter. The 49'rs looked and acted wasted at halftime, just to name a couple of examples. At the games end, the Hawks look like they could still play a double header. Tomorrow they will win because of talent AND stamina. That, and they FINALLY have a quarterback that is a leader and not an ego.

The Closer the Game the better our odds of winning....
This team along w/ New England are the ONLY TWO teams that have NOT been BLOWN OUT this season. That means that they are in every game they play either on the road or at home. That's HUGE in the Playoffs when every game is a nail biter. The last time the Hawks were blown out was last yr in week #8 against the Bengals @ home 34-12. That game was played w/o M. Lynch, Leon lead all rushers w/ a pitiful 34 yrs. Since that loss this team has gone 16-9, w/ a 6-10 record on the road. Their signature road win against the Bears proved that they can get it done when they have to. They have NOT loss by more than 10 pts since that Bengals loss. This team keeps teams out of the END ZONE! Leading the league w/ a 15.5 pts ALLOWED per GAME! Holding teams to FG's is the KEY to WINNING close games. Poor QB play was the ONLY reason we loss last yr here to the Redskins. If we come in w/ a conservative game plan and don't TURN THE ball over in our own territory we should be in great shape. In R. Wilson I trust that he will get the job done if he has the ball late in the game. Close game, Hawks win by 3 Pts. 23-20! GO HAWKS!

    Causes for concern
1.The Redskins are more physical than any team the Hawks have played. 2.The offense is not really the pistol. they set up that way, then run all there pro sets. 3.excellent kicking game. 17 for 18 field goals.

    Cowboys were completely shorthanded....
which led to the somewhat big game for the skins. Romo had a fractured rib, Ware was there for show, Dez was out, Austin was playing injured. Injured QB with Ogletree as your WR1?...and they still gave up almost 200 yards? The Hawks are going to eat them up...RW3, Beastmode, and the Legion of Boom!! RG3 looked bad getting up after the one significant hit he took...he doesn't look the same.

This is only the start of something big for Seahawks fans.
The Seahawks have been in the play-offs 7 of the last 10 seasons. But with the exception of 2005 they have always been underdogs. And felt like it. Not this time around baby. This team is big, fast, strong and talented. But also young. Which is good in the long haul as they will only get better the next few years. It could be a problem this year as we still have guys making bad choices and dumb mistakes. But they will grow out of that. So win or lose in D.C. the game is great practice for a group that will be a dominate force in the NFL for years to come. Go Seahawks!!!
