Resolution supports keeping Kings in Sacramento
Sacramento's efforts to keep its NBA team from moving to Seattle should get some political support Tuesday night.

The Sacramento City Council is set to vote on a resolution in support of the Kings and a plan to build a new sports arena with public and private investment
do it like we did. Don't let the taxpayers have a vote.

"Voting on a resolution to support a plan" -- a bit late, I bet
They should have "supported a plan" a long time ago, I'd think. The Seattle group has caught and passed these guys by a mile in just a year or two. And you gotta love that "The resolution acknowledges that the Kings are one of the most well-known employers in Sacramento..." WOW -- I bet THAT will carry a lot of weight with the NBA (NOT!). These are Hail Mary attempts if I've ever seen 'em.

Thank god for those ADD players stay in the Sac.
Kevin Johnson is my hero also. Just say no to pro sports scams. Like the Mariners. I've never in my life seen anything as screwed up as the mariners. Basketball can take a hike also.

    Resolutions...
If all that was needed is a resolution why don't they pass a resolution in support of a better economy? I'm sure that'll do the trick to turning the nation around and fixing the economy.
