    The 5.25 million salary
As I understand it, $3 million is guaranteed...so if they cut Flynn or traded him they'd have to eat $3 in cap. So the rather they keep or get rid of him the cost difference is $2.25 million. You'll have a hard time finding a good backup QB for that money.

So as I see it, no way you cut Flynn, and you only trade him if you get decent value. Given the poor alternatives in the market someone should be willing to pay reasonably for him...if they aren't then keep him. Very simple.

Well its a Coin flip alright.
I'd say john left it up to Mr Flynn. Its what Flynn wants nobody should stand in his way if he has greater ideas. I feel he has found a nice spot with the Seahawks. Just is he came from a nice spot in Greenbay. I would have him talk to Touchdown Charlie Whitehurst for some freindly advice. Charlie has mixed it up more then Flynn so it would be good for Mr Flynn for some inside advice on how to play his Hand. I just know as a Seahawk Fan I feel a whole lot safer for the team with him here in Seattle as are backup QB. His silky smooth playing style is good for the Team.

Let him have the chance to start
He deserves it. With the type of offense we have with RW, a running QB may be better anyway. And since RW avoids contact for the most part, the odds of losing him to injury is low IMO. Heck, Seneca Wallace would be a more than ample backup in 2013. He do a nice read option probably. the QB role is beginning to morph into a throwing RB. Be ahead of the game....

    Someone outside of Seattle knows...
...as much about Flynn as the Hawks do and what he's worth. He'll get a deserving starting job elsewhere, as long as it's not Arizona, God forbid. If not, then again...what a great situation for Pete n' John to be stuck with!
