Seahawks coach Pete Carroll visited the Capitol and met with lawmakers, asking them for state funding to help expand a youth outreach program he heads.

    Didn't even let him speak while on the Rostrum, not even a Thank you! It looked pretty awkward up there, maybe they didn't want to hear him lobby for money on the House floor, Rule 7 and all.

    If Pete gets anything more than lip service from these clowns I'd be shocked and awed. Maybe an "attaboy", as the Olympian slicksters can spend and/or sidestep with the best of 'em. With all the idiotic programs they do support, at least Carroll's mission has a puncher's chance.

    Pete makes over $7 million a year and he's coming to the working stiffs for money? Come on, Pete! Use some of your own scratch and hit up your rich buddies for some extra if you need it.
