Cubs hold off late Mariners' comeback for 7-6 win
Alfonso Soriano and Darwin Barney each doubled twice and the Chicago Cubs built a six-run lead before holding off the Seattle Mariners 7-6 Sunday.

    Glad to see ya let Chicago get out of town with some Northwest momento's (ie.. a couple of wins ). Now I know how eager ya all are to get back on the road again, just remember, yer going into Texas. Unlike you, they've got Oakland crawling all over them in the standings, so they could use a little relief also. If ya could just drop 2 of the three games, think their fans could be happy and then you can move on to Cincy and help them out. What do ya say? Is it worth a shot?
