    New plan that should work...
So they turned down the relocation of the team but not the ownership part of the deal. CH and his buddies can now hold Sacramento to a sweetheart deal on a new stadium and have 2 yrs to build...if not CH can claim the new "Bennet rule" and move the team as the city wasn't willing to work with the new owners. Regardless....Stern is a jerk and will glad to see him go.

Time for Plan B: NHL Hockey
Go forward with the Arena plan, aggressively go after an NHL franchise. In a few years, Stern and his lap-dog owners can sit and drool watching TV of sold out Seattle NHL games in the finest area in the nation in the 12 largest market in America all WITHOUT the NBA and its revenue stream to the league.

At least we wont see him in our great City he will be in that town in cal. Gosh no tall thugs with tattoos all over. To bad that building would bring some nice concerts to our city. The NBA does not deserve Seattle.

    fishy maneuvering...
There's got to be some kind of conspiracy going on here! How can the NBA in their state frame of mind turned down a better market like Seattle! Unanimous decision by 12 stupid owners? Now, I can understand why many of them owners are losing money- I guess they can use their loses as tax shelters!

    It will not happen...
Seven were on the committee. They all voted no. It only takes 8 votes by the owners to stop the sale. So if already 7 out of 7 say no, what are the chances that every single other owner would want to approve it? Nil.

    what does it say?
"The NBA announced today that the league's Relocation Committee has unanimously recommended that the NBA Board of Governors deny the application of the Sacramento Kings to relocate to Seattle. The Board will convene during the week of May 13 to vote on this matter," said the league in a statement. I DONT SEE ANYWHERE IN THIS ARTICLE THAT IT SAYS THIS IS FINAL. HOWEVER IT DOES SAY THE WILL RECOMMEND THEY DENY THE RELOCATION!
